Amorphophallus titanum

Cycled over to the The Edinburgh Botanics earlier this afternoon - went to see the Amorphophallus titanum (titan arum) ... the world's biggest and smelliest bloom!

Wasn't yet in flower - as you can see from the main snap - but standing at an impressive 2.5M high :-)

Couple of extras show the equally amazing lily-pads in one of the other greenhouses.
