Hi light!

"Our" beach is a favoured location for Loggerhead turtles to nest. There were 4 new nests on the beach today; each one marked with  cage like structure so we knew where not to disturb.

We were told you were most likely to see loggerheads in the sea between 3pm and 5pm.

We went for a swim around 11am and, to our astonishment, a massive Loggerhead appeared and we swam along side it for a few feet.  Occasionally, it's head would break the surface for air.

I could have wept! What a privilege!
