Hooray for Christmas!

It took 1hr 2omins to unwrap the presents under the tree. Miss A wasted no time, grabbing the presents and studying the label before deciding which were hers to open. Little D was much happier playing with whatever was opened and oblivious to the mountain of other presents waiting to be unwrapped. Both kids were delighted with their haul but then had the extra surprise of a seesaw (courtesy of g&g in Spain) waiting for them outside and wasted no time getting out in their pj's, boots and coats to play on their newest toy, squealing with delight! We then skyped gran and grandad to thank them for their wonderful presents.

We then got our things together and made our way up to Rob's folks, where we'd spend Christmas and Boxing Day with the Grandparents and Nic, Xanin, Dilan and Leni - briefly swapping the warmer climes of Mallorca for a Scottish Christmas. More presents awaited, more excitement to be had and more fun and laughter as the cousins got reacquainted again. Lots more presents later, Little D and Miss A were once again asked to go outside where their final present lay - a trampoline. The kids couldn't have been happier and spent some time bouncing around before we all headed back into the house for Christmas dinner.

Dinner was a delicious affair, as is always the case with Grandma's cooking, the atmosphere was great and the kids got along famously. It was a really wonderful Christmas day and one which I'm sure we'll all remember for some time.

Our nephew Dilan takes the credit for this bathtime shot. I always moan about the limitations of my rather old camera but (at age 15) he manages to do things with the camera that I never thought even possible, and always with such ease. I could learn a lot from this guy!
