WELL I AM NOCTURNAL...

... dropped by one of the dams this arvo, and found about 10 Nakeen Night Herons in their "home". Normally the bushes are covered in leaves so you do not see them.
This one certainly having a nap - and I think this one must have been on "watch out patrol".

Also found a couple of Pacific Black Duck (as you do in most water areas) but liked the pose on this one.

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE , also hoping to finish most of the back blips from our trip tomorrow.... well that's the plan!!!
