Via Vennbahn

On our last cycling day of the 2018 summer vacation, we cycled home from Clervaux. There is an old railway line that runs from Troisvierges to Aachen that now serves as a cycle path. The last part of this long cycling day we cycled in the dark, but I still remembered that we were driving past old locomotives and train sets.
Today we went to Raeren, where we hoped to find the trains. There was, however, only a signal box which was converted into a restaurant and one old train wagon. Continuing the track we entered Walheim where I finally could make some photos.

When we arrived at our pub far from our favorite cafe far from home, there was no käsekuchen left, but there was still the big cups of delicious milchcaffee.
It was a nice cycling day today, which ended with a pancake in the pancake mill in our village.
