'Dog Sitting'

That's what we're doing for our next door neighbours and that's what their dog is doing.

This is Tillie, the neighbours little pooch who has come over to stay with us for a week or two while the owners are away on their annual camping trip to Narooma. She's middle aged now and much calmer than she used to be. She has a very yappy little bark, but thankfully we hear it much less nowadays.

On the home front I've finished off the guinea pig enclosure all made out of recycled building materials that we pulled down and saved years ago when we first bought the house. Just need to lay the brick base in it tomorrow and it's good to go.

Other exciting news is that our new (second try) chicken eggs have pipped their shells today and looks like they will either hatch tonight or tomorrow some time. There are at least 5 of the 6 eggs that have pipped which is very good news. Everyone keep your fingers and toes crossed for us.

Had a great lunch catch up with some friends today, they have 2 little girls and our 2 got along very well with them.

Hoping and praying for a successful hatching tonight. We can hear little chirps coming out of the incubator now.....very exciting.
