Rocky mountaineer

Another very interesting day. Once again I couldn’t chose so another collage. (Is that cheating)
We left jasper and headed along the ice parkway to the Athabaska glacier which is fed from the Colombian icefields. Along the way we stopped to look at acouple of canyons and waterfalls. . At the side of the road was a black bear eating dandelions which is eSy food this time of yeR.We cannot believe how stupid people are. They are by law not supposed to get out of their cars. This bear was less than 10 feet away from the road and people were not only taking selfies and photographs but putting their children as near as possible to get that one shot. we then made our way slowly to Banff where we are staying at the Banff Springs hotel. Once again we were upgraded. No idea why. Was it because it happened at the same chain in Vancouver or because it is my birthday tomorrow. Who knows. This meant we have a very nice view.
After a light dinner we wandered down to the Bow Falls. A couple of the shots are inside the hotel and look very HarryPotter. I love the feel of this hotel. It was built early 1900’s I suspect as all the pictures look very 1920’s and very Art Deco
Getting used to the elevators but still very nervous in them .
