Going Outdoors

Miss L had to go to school this morning - she doesn't break up until tomorrow. Miss E got to lounge around in her jim-jams until lunchtime!
Then we headed over to Milton Keynes to look at things in Go Outdoors. We're going to Northumberland for New Year and we need a few bits*
After trying every sleeping bag in the place - this one is AMAZING!!!! - and having lots of fun in lots of tents (which we obviously don't need), we headed over the road to Halfords. Seeing the Little Misses enjoy the bikes so much at Centerparcs last week we've decided to get them proper bikes which are actually the right size and haven't been rusting out in the shed with flat tyres and bent handlebars, unused for months. Miss E loved trying them all out and eventually found her favourite (see extras)  She also tried out loads for Miss L - with her knees coming up round her ears! - and found the one she thinks Miss L will like. We will be showing them to Mr K later and getting them ordered. They probably won't be ready for Christmas but hopefully they'll have them for our trip at New Year.
Then we went to Smyth's Toys, TKMaxx, Greggs for a special treat pre-Christmas sausage roll, back to get Miss L, and then the post office to post some eBay parcels.
Then it was home to book a spa day for my mum and me obviously at Fawsley Hall as her Christmas present. 

*we don't really need anything as we have camping gear coming out of our ears but I do love a trip to Go Outdoors!!
