End of an Era

Last day at nursery today.

He was OK this morning, and when I picked him up (big hugs for all the teachers) but he's been a bit quiet and fragile this afternoon.  He says he misses nursery and wants to go tomorrow, and will miss his friends.  He also seems excited to go into P1 with his friends too though.  I think it's a bit confusing for him. Or in his words, "I'm having a tricky day".

What a wonderful place this has been for him though - he has felt at home since his first day, learned new things, made new friends, and generally thrown himself at the experience.

I think his parents feel a bit like he does - sad nursery is over, but excited for the next step in the autumn...
