Goldfinch

Ok so again it's not the best photo but it was taken from a chair in my living room through a rain covered window at full zoom so perhaps not all that bad considering!! As soon as I moved he flew off!!!

I wanted it to be my blip because I have never seen a goldfinch in the garden before...ever!! It's amazing what feeding them the right stuff will do!!! I feel unreasonably proud!!! To those of you who see them a lot....I know I'm a nutter!! Today we also had a visit from the usual woodpecker.

It was miserable weather for birds and humans....rain and strong winds! A day for the fire.
