Green Veined White butterfly

It's been a lovely day, sunny and very warm. I went for a walk around the Millennium Wood to see what butterflies were there. There were plenty! This is a male Green Veined White butterfly from the spring brood, the summer brood have pronounced spots on the wings.

The extra is a Painted Lady, rather worn I guess from the migration flight from the continent. There were lots of these fluttering about.
