West Highland Railway

It's been an amazing day up here in the West Highlands... The car told me it was 29.5c this afternoon and the news told me it's been the hottest  June day for decades. It certainly felt like it!

We spent the day looking at this and that and scouting out a viewpoint to take a photo of the steam locomotive on the run from Fort William to Mallaig. This Loco  No 45157 LMS Stanier Class 5 (Black Five) 4-6-0 pulling The Royal Highlander.

The extra is a view of Ben Nevis, still a little bit of snow up there...
