Another day spent clearing out the workroom, and another carload of stuff taken to Goodwill.  I stopped in at the supermarket on the way home, and was amazed to see this little kiosk outside the pharmacy counter.  Marijuana has been legal in Washington for some time now, but I never expected to see it on sale in the grocery store!  Especially since CBD oil is not recommended for everyone - in my case, it would interfere with the medications I take.  At least in the licensed cannabis stores the clerks are trained about different types of weed and related products and can give customers meaningful support.  In the supermarket, it's just, pick what you like and take it to the checkout.  I find this worrisome.

The cloud over my day today was the horrifically irresponsible ruling by the conservative majority of the Supreme Court that they can't get involved in partisan gerrymandering.  The consequences of this decision are sure to be as dreadful as the response to the Court's dismissal of the Voting Rights law - a rush by the most partisan and anti-democratic politicians to get even more extreme in their unconstitutional behavior.  It's sickening.
