The Mists of Taymouth

We had a relaxing couple of days in Kenmore. Today as we were driving out of Kenmore on the A827 towards Aberfeldy, a beautiful mist started to drift along the Tay Valley.

This is a view looking across the Taymouth Valley back towards the Drummond Hills in the distance. I love the rich colour of the bracken in the foreground, against the ancient trees and the drama created by the mist.

You could easily imagine Rob Roy MacGregor and his Clansmen marching towards you out of the mist. Okay so I have a vivid imagination.

We are so lucky to live in a country with so much natural beauty.
