Jumping with the Cats

You never sleep well on the bus; I’ve no idea why we decided an overnight bus to Glastonbury via London was a good idea, but we arrived without incident at 11:00, amazingly enough sharing the leg from Victoria with H&F.
And for first timers at the festival I’ve got to say we’ve been blessed - a tent tucked away at the bottom of the site but close (not too close!) to the lavvies, and more importantly, hot dry weather! OK, the acts may be so-so (and they don’t start till tomorrow) but it’s like, amazing, like awesome, to be here after all these years of watching it on TV. And it’s lovely - full of the nicest middle class kids you could hope to meet. The guy across the aisle on the bus was finishing reading a document from his work. But now we’re all here the weekend rockstars can really start practicing their lines.
Rock on Tommy! Yes, that’s my flat white.
