Hypericum

At this stage last year, our garden was looking pretty reasonable as we had put in a lot of work to tidy it up.  This year a combination of appalling weather and other priorities means that the garden is still looking a little wild.  However, there is still some welcome colour.

I love the feathery detail of this lovely flower, shining in the sunlight.  It appears to be covered in multiple bugs but I think that, in fact, there were only two - but they kept moving around during the 13 exposures I took to create this focus stack.
