Across the water

But to where?

Not our usual ferry to the Hebrides that's for sure. And definitely not to France.

We had a lovely sunny drive through South West Scotland this morning and caught the 1.30 ferry from Cairnryan. A beautiful, bright and calm crossing and two hours later (lots of reading done), we arrived in Larne. Then it was an hour or so of driving and we arrived on the northern coast of Northern Ireland.

We are now settled in our cottage in Portballentrae, not far from the Giant's Causeway. It was nine years ago that we were in this area last and we always said we would return - now we have.
