Age gets better....

Spotted this sign in a shop window in Bridge of Allan today.
 
What does not get better with age are our bones.
This morning in aqua aerobics class my friend J said she had finally got an appointment to see a surgeon in NHS Larbert hospital.
 
And she is glad its not the same one she saw last year who sent her away with a flea in her ear telling her she was “far too healthy” to have a hip replacement  (did they say that to Andy Murray?) 
 
He told her the operation carried a high risk and he had seen a lot of deaths. 
 
Was that supposed to inspire confidence in his ability or an attempt to frighten her off?
(He also said the same thing to another friend).
 
Well, it’s one way for the NHS to cut the waiting list…
