Sisters at Sixty

The big family meal for mine (last December) and my sister's (next January) sixtieths finally arrived today, and it was a very special and happy occasion, with lots of love, and some good speeches, including some great limericks written for the occasion by my sister's husband. Our eldest, Deb, had done a superb job of organising most of it, and was the official photographer; here is her photo of the group, as I just took a few snaps, especially of her, as she wouldn't be on her own photos; above, with her brother and sister.

A few extras: the venue; the two brothers-in-law having a laugh; Deb with Allegra, Deb with my other sister and R; R with Jamie, my nephew; the kids with another nephew and the gliders L gave them as a surprise.

Gratefuls:
- for all these folk gathering from round the world, getting to know each other, and getting on so well
- that it all went smoothly, great service at The School House, in Weeford
- a perfect English summer's day
