EH7 5AA - National Monument under the lights

Windy in the evening again.

I was going through the Water of Leith and leith Walk around the Calton Hill. Met a lot of fans in green/white colours around 5.30pm (Celtic Glasgow was playing at Easter Road Stadium today). So I turned to Calton Hill when I found a lot of barriers after dark. All the buildings were preparing by technical staff to be under the lights at night. Everything is probably ready for The Torchlit Procession.

took first picture and was going slowly to bus near Princes Mall. But I saw from there that colours of light are changing. saw the beautifully red (not taken...). Quickly decided to go back and take another picture. choose the different angle. Moon was looking great too there at that moment ;)

So enjoy the different view to National Monument ;)

btw. missing the moment when Nelson Monument was under the blue or yellow lights too. And of course City Observatory was under the interesting lights too...
