Stereolab - Pain Et Spectacles (recorded Spring 1994, Blackwing Studios, London)
On Thursday night Stereolab played live on Marc Riley's 6 Music show, their first BBC session in a decade: reason enough for including them here. They are an English band with a French singer, Laetitia Sadier.
The lyric to this, from the EP Ping Pong, is in French and does not include the title, so whether it translates as 'Pain And Glasses' or 'Bread And Sights' or some permutation of those I haven't a clue, but it does link to the previous LOTD again via the title.
