Campions colour the hedgerow crimson.
No wonder the hoverflies kiss them.
But after they've flowered, their seedpods shape
fresh beauty, in case we miss them.
Very hazy today with a mist rolling in from the sea. Enjoyed a warm walk where today's butterflies were mostly Meadow Browns. (My extra shows three winged critters on one flowerhead.)
Can't work out what's attached to one of the pods - but it seems to have wings.
