A misty morning

The sun eventually burned through the cloud and we enjoyed a lovely warm, sunny morning. The holiday makers started arriving and now the parking spaces are at a premium.

By early afternoon the sun was a distant memory, the sky darkened and it was much warmer outside than inside. The lightning flashed, the thunder rolled and a mighty downpour caused some flash flooding on the road. All is quiet now.
