Scotland's Open Gardens

After a rather dull but very windy morning things improved in the afternoon. Very warm and sunny but the relentless wind continued to blow.

L and I decided to go Boarhills Open Gardens (a beautiful village near St Andrews). It was part of Scotland's Open Garden Scheme.

Yesterday's torrential rain and the high winds today and given many of the flowers a real battering particularly the delphiniums and peony roses but even with the battering the gardens were still beautiful.

The yummy afternoon tea in the community hall was lip-smackingly delicious.
