On the Nest

You almost take your life into your own hands walking around the stables as the adult swallows swoop in and out of the doors to feed their young.  It's an amazing sight but one that isn't easily captured, even with the video functions of modern cameras.

Fortunately, High ISO performance is very good, so despite the darkness within the stables I was able to capture a reasonable image of an adult on the nest, studiously ignoring her offspring at that moment, before heading off to find more food.
