A New Watch

A couple of weeks ago our granddaughter revealed that she could tell the time (well, the o’clocks and the half pasts at least) and that she wanted a watch for her birthday....

So.....her 5th birthday was on Wednesday (whilst we were away) - but today was her party day and we got the chance to take her presents to her. She has gone bashful, and it was hard to get a shot of her with her watch, but she did peep at me for this one.

We have been in Doncaster all day, making sandwiches, arranging trays of food, filling party bags, arranging tables and chairs and decorations in the village hall, supplying tea and coffees to mums and dads who came along and then clearing up the hall after the party.

Back to daughter’s with friends to eat the remnants of the party food (not much to be honest)..

Home late evening... swift glass (or two) of red to unwind...
