A Lone Tree in Marlborough

The Mistress is still beating her mother at scrabble, so feeling a bit guilty and needing a blip, she took her mother for a Sunday drive down to Havelock. The Mistress was hoping to hone me onto a shag or flying gull, but the jetty was too busy with boats coming and going and so the birds were staying away.

On the way home, she saw he huge storm coming across the Inland Kaikouras, so decided to look at the Delta Lake Heights area, an area with elevation, which is quite rare as Marlborough is usually flat.

Excellent area for photographs here and the Mistress found a 'lone' tree. She mumbled something about not needing to head back to to Wanaka just for the tree for a while as Marlborough has one now!

The Mistress has fallen in love with Lot 26 down there and now wants to build a house there. She mumbled something about research and agents. As a camera, I must admit it would be great to live by the lake permanently!
