The Game

The mistress has been keeping her mother occupied by playing scrabble for the last few days. Eleven games now, all won by the mistress. The mistress is impressed that her mother keeps coming back for more!!

So the blip today is the Scrabble board. Old and worn, and many games played over a lifetime. The bag the scrabble tiles are kept in are from a very old Wellington Company 'Unilever', and used to be used to package corks! The pen was picked up on a jaunt to Chicago, and the pad from a hotel room in Wellington.

The two letters not used are two we found on the floor at the end of the game. The Mistress reckons she may have got more points if they had been found earlier!

Weather today is finally warming up at 5pm, but there has been a cold wind blowing all day, hence an inside day doing chores.

The mistress is mumbling something like it must be time to kick of New Years drinks!
