Swinging Ruby

Very busy day again today. I went around the patios where we'd had the resin gravel laid. It was a bit uneven around the edges so I cut back the grass with those shears that look like a Stork, then strimmed. Went around with the edges with a bolster and hammer and it looks much neater now. We were going to get paving bricks to finish it off but I think it's ok.
Lawn raked areas of the back lawn (no front lawn now!) and then mowed it. Will get some grass seed for the bits that are looking a bit bare where the Albanian workmen cleaned their trowels with white spirit over the grass and killed it!

Also laid slabs that we rescued before the patios were done. Did this laying around the side of the house where we have a bit of a vegetable/rhubarb patch and also now keeping the 'black' (general rubbish) and 'green' (garden waste) bins.

As well as all that I decided the top box didn't look good with the gold spray paint, it didn't match the same shade of gold on the bike so it's now all sprayed gloss black. Tomorrow I'll do some coats of clear lacquer.

Had Hendrix this morning and Ruby all day. Ruby wasn't well, she's got a cold but she still managed a wave when she was having a swinging time.
