Tiny

It was much cooler today, still 27°C /80°F, but hey, that's a pleasant summer day. I managed to weed a part of the garden.
I met this tiny colourful creature. It's a baby of a  green shield bug.

We got the first aids for Omo and started to train to use them. He got a sort of trousers with a handle to relieve the leg with the ruptured cruciate ligament from the weight. He accepted it immediately and is waiting for me to change his position. But we have still to learn to coordinate us, because he tries to run very fast ;-)
We borrowed a ramp for the car and in the meantime he understood to use it, too. We even had a trip to the river for a VERY short walk. Without the pain in his knee (only my pain in the shoulder while carring his weight) he was very disappointed when we had to return to the car.
Tomorrow we will get the neck collar, which should prevent him from licking at the surgery wound. So no "cone of shame" will be needed.
The surgery is Wednesday. I hope we can cope it and the long time afterwards...
