A’body’s Favourite Wee Laddie

Oor Wullie, a Scottish icon.
Which Scottish child didn't grow up reading The Broons and Oor Wullie?
My 3 teenagers look forward to their Broons or Oor Wullie album every Christmas.
He’s the iconic wee Scottish laddie from the fictional town of Auchenshoogle, and some say the image of Wullie sitting on his upturned bucket, wearing his famous black dungarees is as familiar to Scots as Edinburgh Castle!
A trip to Dundee to meet up with a friend gave me the opportunity to meet up with him again as part of the Bucket Trail.
Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail can be found in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, and Inverness.
The Bucket Trail aims to raise awareness and vital funds for Scotland’s children’s hospital charities.
