Iris Domestica

This wildflower is one that I adore! It goes by the common names "blackberry lily" and "leopard lily" and "leopard flower" apparently - I've always known it as blackberry lily. In any case, it isn't a lily at all - it's an iris. I have been encouraging a patch of it up the hill from the house and it's having a very good year this year! Whoohoo! I sprinkle its seeds around when it goes to seed.
