Scratchy Lego

The day starts slowly - a trip to Garvald for. baler twine; Angus to the doctor; more timber from Penicuik. By lunchtime Angus has installed some weld mesh and Nick has erected some timber guides to help the construction.

It’s a long hot afternoon. I show the team how to split a bale using a homemade bale-needle and some baler twine. And we’re off.

Work continues till after seven, at which point the walls are 4 courses high. At this rate they’ll be done by tomorrow lunchtime.
