Rain stops play

We crack on. The walls are all in place by lunchtime. Nick starts work on the roof plate while Angus and I carry the trusses up from the track.

The wind picks up, clouds thicken, and a few drops of precipitation rapidly becomes constant light rain. We deploy tarps to protect the walls, held in place by baler twine and bales.

The forecast is for the wind and rain to dissipate overnight. We should be ok.

Nick returns to Edinburgh on a “Traction Avant” mission. Angus and I watch Fury.
