Something out of Nothing

Actually a tea light vase filled with shattered glass from a 3m x 2m pane of glass at work which broke last week.

Why it shattered we are not sure. The offices are constructed of glass walls, this particular piece is towards the end of the corridor and we think it was the frame that must have expanded and shrunk during the very hot day last week? It happened when no one was in the offices and nothing around to show signs of impact. Saying that the point at which the glass broke is clearly visible in the Extra ------->

It's going to cost a fortune to fix. They are sealed units and we had custom graphics applied to them so will have to be redone.
