Above And Beyond...

Seat With A View

A lovely sunny day, the sort of day we should have for British Summers: With that we fancied a walk along the coast, and headed to one of our favourites at Monknash in The Vale of Glamorgan that overlooks the Bristol Channel.

If the tide is in we walk along the clifftop, but luckily it was out and we walked a mile or so along the beach to Nash Point Lighthouse. The light was amazing as was the scenery of yachts, gulls, and fisherman. I came across an apparently abandoned folding chair. Makes an interesting foreground.

At the halfway point, Nash Pont Cafe, we caught up with our friend Tony who runs it and the car park, and had a natter with him and his friend, whom we've met before, a retired Police Officer (Wiltshire) who lives nearby.
