fun with faffing on the Fourth

Today is the Fourth of July, also known as Independence Day here on the other side of the pond.
In celebration, we fly our patriotic colors of red, white, and blue, and shoot off fireworks.
Today our sky here in Colorado is a gorgeous blue, with a few white puffy clouds, so all I needed to make a patriotic blip was a bird with some red feathers posing against the sky. But...it didn't quite turn out as I had hoped, so I commenced with the faffing (post processing). I do like the pop of red, and hint of blue and white in the background, but the peach tree leaves turned out electric green! Ah well, fun was had, and now I can enjoy the fireworks.
