Castlebay

The wind was a little less this morning and we decided to walk from the campsite up the Marilyn of Beinn Tangabhal; it was absolutely Baltic and really windy but the views were good even if it wasn’t sunny. We then went to the castle in the bay at Castlebay; it was excellent. We then went up the Marilyn of Heabhal above Castlebay; this also has the Virgin of the Isles statue on it; it’s smaller than you might think. The weather was a bit mixed, but the blip is the view of Castlebay from near the top of the hill before the first shower. The extra is a collage of views from Heabhal and Beinn Tangabhal.
