Pupa

I've read that harlequin ladybirds spend 5-6 days as a pupa.

This one is outside our front door, and it feels like I've been watching it for over a week.

The bottom pictures (left to right) were taken on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The adult pic is a different ladybird, to make this collage more appealing :-)

I can't decide whether it is very slowly developing, or it has died. Any opinions?
