Today's the day …………………….. to anticipate

I quite like this bit - just before your important visitors arrive.

The house is clean (enough), the food is prepared just ready to be popped into the oven, the music is playing and the atmosphere is relaxed - and there's a little posy of wild flowers in the guest bedroom.

Tim, Melanie and Dominic are on their way to spend the weekend with us.  There's a couple of family birthdays to celebrate, which will happen on Sunday, when Rob, Anna, Tessa and Josie will come over too.

Oh, I do like a big family gathering ………………….!
