Remembering Chaiselongue

We blipped together for three years, which seemed a long time at the time, and, now, she has been away for six.

Chaiselongue's sudden death was a huge shock to her family and all her blip friends. We were coming out of Egypt after a night of violent disturbances during the overthrow of the recently-deceased President Mursi, and read the news of her passing in Rome airport, on our way home, first in an email from KiH and then in one from LoJ.

Chaiselongue was the most perceptive and intuitive commenter that I have known in this place. Her photos were also fantastic and we have two on our wall at home.

Chaisleongue was also a delight to meet in person and she would be surprised, and pleased, I hope, by the number of times Dd and I mention her, day to day. We send our best to LoJ.

I do hope she would like this shot, including the mini-SP.

She's still much missed by many in blipland.

The day after, six years ago . . .

PS
An extra of Dd and I after our lunch in Sarría, Barcelona, today.
