On The Prom

Helped with the Friends of Porty Prom Clean Up this morning - picking up rubbish, weeding and sweeping sand off the Prom to help it look a bit tidier. Although the council do have cleaning carts they can't get in around the bins and close to the lampposts so sand and rubbish tends to accumulate there. This is Larry the Lobster, mascot for the Keep Porty Tidy campaign, with Lynne Beattie, half of Scotland's Beach volleyball team (who are based in Portobello) and an organiser of the Family Fun Day that was taking place on the beach volleyball courts.
In the afternoon went up into town for the Film Festival - four films.
