Weighed down

The lovely begonia was this morning weighed down by the overnight rain. I shook off as much moisture as I could and I think it will perk up. Normous perked up too. He set off to play a round of golf but they decided it was just too wet, so they sat in the clubhouse for a couple of hours, chatting over coffee, and maybe a drink or two. And they say women talk. Meanwhile, I was at home, cooking the Sunday lunch.
The rain cleared and the afternoon turned bright and sunny.
