Time to water

I thought after all the rain overnight yesterday I wouldn't have to water again, but plants were beginning to look thirsty. It was a pleasant evening to be outside, and all the time I was watering a song thrush was going through its repertoire, full glorious volume. After watering I had a dead heading session. Nice gentle gardening.
