Make Every Day Memorable

Torquay's Sad Pavilion

Built in 1912 on land reclaimed from the sea, Torquay's Pavilion, once known as Torquay's Palace of Pleasure, is now an empty, sad shadow of it's former self.
The iconic building with it's copper domes is in desperate need of restoration but for years now, while the council argues it's fate,  it has been disintegrating.
Although, at first glance it might appear to be in 'good nick', the windows are boarded up and there is no public access allowed, probably because it is deemed too dangerous.
This then is my very sad Derelict Sunday contribution
