Sardines

Tinned Rödel sardines with green peppercorns served on brown rice (leftover from last night’s chinese takeout), pickled sweet red peppers, homemade cucumber tsukemono, and homemade carrot escabeche.

This was a quick lunch squeezed in between the World Cup final and the Copa America final. I’m posting this after a quick pizza dinner during halftime of the Gold Cup final. It has been a busy day of laziness. My teams have won so far; can the U.S. men make it 3?
