Race licence

53 and slightly too heavy..., but now a British Cycling silver race member.

Did my first race couple weeks back and loved it even though last... Not by much and party not spotting the tactics.

Race 2 tomorrow round Goodwood motor race circuit. It's a speedy business.. Even in the category 4 race which is the slowest cat we averaged 26 mph over the hour.

For the average weekend rider 26 is mental fast so i was happy with that and the buzz of doing it.

By way of comparison the Tour de France teams were doing nearly 40 mph in the team time trial yesterday... Just incredible!!

Hoping to be a few more places up the finish order this time.
