Hanging On In There

The wildflowers this summer have been quite spectacular.
Today, Common Spotted Orchids, Red Clover, Meadow Buttercups, Marguerite Daisies (I think), and, still, Poppies hanging on in there.

The resilience of wildflowers and their ability to spring into life in unexpected corners always makes me smile a little.

I have not walked this route in a while and it was lovely to see the changes the flowers have brought.

I took a few photos and let middle son choose today's Blip.

So, the Poppy won!
