Snowman...........

It won't be long before this little fella is back in his box and stored in the loft for another year.

The front room will look bare and feel empty without the decorations, but that feeling will pass after a few days as routine returns............

We've had a quiet holiday here in Gunners Way, the family are all safe and sound, not so for one family in Gosport. A man was stabbed in front of his children last week, the paramedics worked on him for an hour but failed to save him.

Of course the world carries on relentlessly providing us with horrors of one sort or another everyday, shamefully we tend to be immune to the shock, unless we're somehow implicated.

I do wonder how we've got to a place where people put such little value on a human life, but here we are..........

It's not my place or job to despair, but i just do..............

I hope this snowman brings a smile to your face..
