We started the day with another great breakfast. The weather was nice and sunny and no thunderstorm as promised. We drove into the country side to go for a walk. As always I slowed everyone done being busy taking photos. Spotted another lot of insects. We also found a toad that was surprisingly inactive (see extra). Turns out the poor thing was inflicted by toadflies, a type of blow fly that lays its eggs near the nostrils of the toad. The maggots feed on the toad, pretty grim. I did enjoy watching the very colourful colorado beetles (although I am sure the farmer wasn't that happy his potatoes got munched).
